I am a member of a wonderful group of ladies who have been helping the Northern Cheyenne since September of 2004. We, as a group, have joined hands in helping these people. If you would like to join us please click on the link, it will take you to our home page where you can join us!

There are so many ways that you can help others. Perhaps you have never considered your local grocery stores buy one get one or two free items for non-perishable items. How about product samples you receive in the mail or the complimentary samples you get in motel rooms? For someone with nothing, these would be a great blessing. Maybe you have changed your curtains recently and the old ones are still in good shape, they could cover someone's windows. How about an inexpensive multipack of washcloths or dishcloths?

Do you craft? Have extra supplies or maybe a yarn you decided you didn't like after you got it? Think of donating these items. Like to make things but really have no one to give them to when it is finished? Believe me, we can find a loving home for them with someone so thankful to receive them. If you would like to donate any yarn for the ladies to make blankets, hats, socks, scarves, etc, you can mail them to United Hands Helping Others - 7 Fraser Street - Brunswick, GA 31520

Sometimes a need can be just knowing someone cares. Any little token to brighten someone's day could change that person's life forever. Whatever you can do, large or small, will be so appreciated by someone in need. Share your talents, your heart and your hands to help someone in need.

The picture above is of a fire that ravaged the area and most of the state in 2002. It destroyed many homes, their library and their hospital. These people hardly have anything left. They need everything from cotton balls all the way up to homes. Fires have ravaged the state of Montana three years in a row.
